One of the tragic realities of horror movies is rooted in the cause of sound moral judgment: a story in which very young children are destined to be slaughtered is rarely deserving of redemption. Varying degrees of that estimation have been seen on the big screen over the years, ranging from minor offenses (“Pet Semetary”) to more garish excursions (“Dinocroc”), but only those that move to the metronome of a compelling perspective can bring those sorts of risks back from the brink of despair.
На самом деле я просто искал инфу про фильм "Клоун" 2014 года. Ужасный фильм, говорят, полный бессмысленной жестокости.

Просмотрел краткое содержание книги "Children and Childhood in the Works of Stephen King" (сборник эссе разных авторов 2020 года издания). Хорошо, но мало. Покупать не буду, а украсть вроде бы негде.
и так далее.

Посмотрел на "Детей кукурузы" в списке и вспомнил древнюю адвенчуру "Sanitarium" (она же, простите, "Шизариум"), где был шикарный протагонист с головой в бинтах, потерявший память и оказавшийся в каком-то крипи городке с крипи детьми, явными сектантами в духе "Плетеного человека". Эта, первая часть игры, была самой лучшей, дальше мне уже не так понравилось...
